I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couples session in San Clemente, CA. We had planned to catch that iconic California sunset for a dreamy golden-hour backdrop, but nature had a different idea. Just as we were setting up, thick clouds rolled in, softening the light in ways we hadn’t anticipated. While it wasn’t the bright, sunny scene we envisioned, it turned out to be even better—one of those happy surprises that add magic to the moment.
