Downtown

I looove location scouting. Everywhere I go, I am always on the lookout for a good photo opportunity. Every drive I take, my head is constantly swiveling to see what is around. I have found some of my most favorite photo locations by just driving my around and dropping a pin in my maps when I see a good spot.

This location was just that, on a drive I make so often! Driving by and it hit me that this would make a great location for a photoshoot. The tall white column looking lines with the window reflecting the sunset so perfectly, I had to shoot here! I grabbed my friend Kaitlin, put together some outfits and headed to a local church.

Since this photoshoot I did for fun, I have now booked two portrait shoots for this exact location. And that is why I love to do test shoots and show off the potential of these somewhat random locations, such as a First Presbyterian Church in downtown Redlands.

Styling this shoot, we didn’t want to put something too crazy patterned in front of this wall so we chose something more simple yet elegant. It gives me all those dreamy, fun and a lil mystery type of vibes. Hope you enjoy!
